I have a season ticket to NC State Wolfpack football games. I make most of them. What a contrast between the Clemson and the Maryland games!
In the Clemson game the first quarter concerned me because the game was going Clemson’s way. The team stayed at it and the second quarter saw it going our way.
What a difference one week makes! I have to admit that I was concerned going into this game. It has appeared that aliens inhabit their bodies every other week. It is almost as if another team is there. Just look at the season. We get trounced by FSU. Then we shut out UNC. We get beaten by Boston College and turn around and beat Clemson.
This past Saturday against Maryland NCSU could do nothing right through the first part of the third quarter. Then it started rolling. Once it did, the momentum was like a boulder going off a cliff. I still cannot believe how many points we scored in the last part of this game!
The game reminds me of life. One day we are going good and the next we are knocked down. In this economy it is one step forward and one backward. Sometimes maybe we need to reach out and go to the next step.
I am researching a decision that determines if I stay where I am or grow in a new direction. Maybe it is like those players. It may be time to step up and grow into something bigger.
